Why is my drone not connecting to Hangar 360 after switching from DJI Go?

DJI GO and Hangar 360 cannot run at the same time. If you've recently used DJI Go, typically it will continue to work in the background. Please force close DJI GO by double tapping the home button and swiping up on the DJI Go app before opening Hangar 360. If you continue to have trouble connecting force close the Hangar 360 app and reopen it.

Can I fly to a preferred location and engage Hangar 360 from there?

Yes, you can. Currently if you fly to a height above or below 300 ft (91.44 m) and choose to start a 360 photo mission from that height, Hangar 360 will prompt you with a choice of whether you would like to begin a capture from the current height or the default, 300 ft (91.44 m).
If you do chose to take a 360 at a height that is not the default, the 360 photo may decrease the likelihood that the 360 will not stitch. Be very cautious when choosing to lower the aircraft to 300 ft (91.44m). This is height is relative to the take-off location and has the possibility to lower the aircraft into obstacles, especially in more hilly or mountainous areas.

How do I override the mission or flight in Hangar 360?

If you want to take over flight at any point during a Hangar 360 mission and you are using:
  • Mavic Pro - Switch to Sport Mode
  • Phantom 4 Standard - Switch to 'A' or Attitude Mode near the top of the remote
  • Phantom 3 Professional - Switch to 'P' or Positioning Mode
  • Phantom 3 Advance - Switch to 'P' or Positioning Mode
  • Phantom 3 4K - Switch to 'P' or Positioning Mode
  • Phantom 3 Standard - Toggle the S1 switch to Position 1 to enable P-Mode or Positioning Mode
You can also cancel a mission by tapping the Cancel Button on the right your iOS device, it looks like an "X". This will cause your aircraft to hover in place.

The Return-to-Home feature is landing my drone off by a few yards (or meters) from the take-off location, is this normal?

In our testing Return-to-Home can be inaccurate by a few yards (or meters), be cautious and ready to take over manual control of the aircraft at all times. Return-to-Home is a feature provided by DJI, Hangar 360 has no control over the aircraft once that feature is triggered. Please read your drone's manual for details before using it.
The aircraft seems to rush through the 360 photo capture sequence, I would like to have the aircraft take the 360 photos more slowly.
We've fined tuned our capture time to optimize for settling of the camera sensor and speed for each 360 photo. In our testing, even at the relatively high speed, the 360 photo will still be a high quality result.

How can I insert the links and logos on my 360 photos like you do on your website?

We have a fantastic internal team that creates content like that! If you'd like to get in touch with our team feel free to call: sale@hangar.com

Can I send images directly to Hangar servers for stitching without capturing them through the Hangar 360 app?

Currently we have no way to upload images directly to Hangar servers for stitching.

How long does a 360 photo processing take?

Once the images are uploaded the 360 photo processes within minutes.

Can the drone camera settings be adjusted?

They cannot be adjusted at this current time. Hangar 360 uses it's own custom camera settings that increase the likelihood that we will get a good quality stitch from the images captured by the aircraft.

Do I have to send my data to Hangar?
